ABOUT US

At Awari Studio, we are passionate about making limited edition clothing merging sustainability, art and fashion. Our prints are unique and the cuts will make you look and feel incredible.

Owned and run by women of color, our latest drop features prints inspired by Kachni paintings from the Madhubani region of India on HEMP fabric, something totally unique and groundbreaking.

Art has the power to transcend boundaries, connect people and souls from across the world. Our collections are rooted in the idea of free spirit embracing diverse artistic perspectives to inspire a sense of openness and freedom by bridging cultures through art.

ORIGIN STORY

Awari Studio was founded by Neha Sinha, our Creative Director, who has always loved the idea of creating something that celebrates art and craft while being kind to the planet. From a career in tech product management, to being an illustrator and designer, the journey of building Awari Studio has been fulfilling.

All our prints are designed in California and lovingly crafted into garments in India from premium 100% hemp — the most sustainable fabric out there. Plus, everything is handmade in small batches, so we keep it super mindful and also, zero-waste by up-cycling the leftover fabric scraps.

SUSTAINABILITY

Sustainability is at the core of Awari Studio. We’re all about eco-friendly choices, from our natural, biodegradable fabrics to our recycled and compostable packaging. We make everything in small batches mindfully to avoid overproduction and minimize waste.

We're passionate about proving that sustainable fashion, including hemp clothing, doesn’t have to be uninteresting. Our designs show that eco-conscious fashion can be stylish and fun, letting you make a bold, responsible statement that matches your values.

PARTNERSHIPS

We're building a community with artisans, vendors and creators who are just as committed to a greener future as we are. We team up with women-owned small businesses in India to make our clothing. Together, we're trying to push for environmental responsibility in everything we do.

Partnering with artists and artisans, Awari Studio is a small means of empowering the artistic community. Every collaboration we do is a story of resilience, dignity, and transformative power of ethical business practices.
